FREE Course is available to residents of Tennessee only, as it is sponsored by the State DSEW Grant.
This is the application for the 3-week FREE Intro to Music Production Course, for both kids and adults. The course introduces students to the foundations of several popular areas in Music Production, including Digital Music Making, DJ-ing, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Recording, Live Sound Management, and Podcasting.
Participants will attend two 1-hour sessions per week, for 3 weeks. By the end of the course, students will have a strong understanding of essential software and hardware, key production processes, safe online practices, available resources, and potential areas of study and career pathways within the Music Production industry.
This course is a fun and creative hobby opportunity for learners of all ages. Whether you choose to continue into the next level—a more specialized and longer program—or simply complete this intro experience, it’s a great way to grow your tech skills, have fun, make friends, and make music.

Sessions are organized by age group and location.
Germantown: Tuesdays & Fridays
Collierville: Mondays & Thursdays
Class Times (twice per week):
Elementary School: 5–6 pm
Middle School: 6–7 pm
High School: 4–5 pm
Adults: 7–8 pm
Enrollment is accepted on a rolling basis at the start of each week (students may begin on Monday or Tuesday).
This course is free to the citizens of Tennessee, through the generous funding from the State of Tennessee (see full PRESS RELEASE) and will remain free until grant funds are fully utilized.
Consistent attendance is required.
